Oval Aluminum Carabiner with Screw Nut

This oval carabiner has a 0,8 inch (20 mm) gate opening, a breaking strength of 24 kN, and weighs only 2,75 oz (78 grams). Made from high-tenacity anodized aluminum, it features a lime-colored body and a dark grey lever. Its symmetrical oval shape is larger than classic oval carabiners, providing better webbing positioning.

The aluminum construction makes this carabiner very lightweight.

Carabiner Usage Guide

Designed for linear loads, this carabiner is perfect for creating a primitive pulley system with your slackline.

Importance of 2-Axial Loading

Carabiners are designed for 2-axial loads on the rounded part of the carabiner. Using it as the main anchor in tri-directional load setups is allowed only with a 4 kN working limit load and a working angle of the slings around the tree lower than 30°.

Preventing Slackline Damage

Equipped with a KEY-LOCK system, this carabiner ensures a smooth contact point between the gate and the body, preventing webbing damage when opening or closing the gate.

Warnings and Limitations

This carabiner is not compatible with 2 inch (50 mm) webbing and should not be used for trickline, jump lines, or climbing. Do not exceed a 4 kN working limit load or a 30° working angle with slings around the tree. If in doubt, replace the carabiner with a shackle designed for tri-directional loads.
