Choosing Between Ratchets and Primitive System for a 50m Longline

For newcomers, we suggest the FLY LINE 50 ratchet system. As you advance, try dynamic webbings like ZAO or JOKER.

Convert Your FLY 50 Kit to a Primitive System

Switch your kit to a primitive system, which is lighter but slightly less effective. You'll need a CHAINLOCK RING and 4 CARABINERS, using the small ratchet from the FLY LINE 50.

Using an 80m Longline with FLY LINE 50

The ratchet's webbing rotation limit restricts its use to certain tensions. For an 80m longline, consider the LONGLINE KIT - MINI DOUBLE, ensuring at least 6.5 feet height from the ground or a sunken area in the middle.
